MIS - Murphy’s Irish Seafood

Murphy’s Irish Seafood is a dedicated aquaculture company producing quality seafood in a pristine environment using sustainable and organic husbandry.  Farming organic Atlantic salmon across their sites, all their sites are certified organic by Naturland of Germany.  MIS manages its own hatcheries, farms and processing facility run by a crew of 35 dedicated professionals.  Over the years MIS has developed a comprehensive distribution system which sees product sold on three continents.   The quality of their product is widely acknowledged with 2010 seeing Murphy’s receive the award for Irish Organic Exporter of the Year from Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board).  Mr. David O’Neill MA., M.Sc., MBA is a Director of MIS. He formerly worked in development finance with CDC (IFC - Word Bank/ UK equivalent) where he ran the marine investment division (€100 Million in assets), prior to this he worked in marine research and aquaculture. David holds two masters degrees in Science from TCD and UCC and an MBA from TCD, and further studies at the TUCK School of Business in Dartmouth, New Hampshire, USA).
